It happens sometimes, but not often. Milk and eggs went down.

  • Trauma Victims Who Think It's Their Fault

Mike, I'm so sorry you went through trauma earlier in your life. You're correct that some victims don't really understand what happened, and have a distorted perspective about their experiences. Sometimes getting into adulthood helps the victim understand, but some still can't even as adults. If it's something that the person grew up experiencing in the home, especially if it was the parent causing the abuse, the child thinks it's normal or deserved. It's amazingly difficult to mentally and emotionally break free from a mess like that. Some people never do. I'm glad you're one who has moved forward from it. What kind of relationship do you have now with the person who abused you? Has your abuser made amends in any way, or are they still abusive, or is there some other outcome?

I suspect we’ll hit that by the first week of June. Unless seasonality saves us.

My urologist friend says: "It can work pretty well. Can be done in office with some minimal sedation. Got some friends who love the procedure. "

Same way, but for us, we position ourselves under the money spigot that is AAPL. The rube goldberg machine which starts when the fed dumps buckets of cash onto the country, directs most of the money there.

@Rainman said in Jon Huntsman speaks on China: I do not consider "we" to only be Trump, or Obama, or Nixon. I'm talking about the average American who was slammed into being unemployed and having their life ruined by the communist party of China. And I don't mean the people of China, I do not hold them responsible for their typical communist mechanism run at the top by a dictator who directly killed countless thousands of people while stumbling around trying to "save face" or whatever the hell that term seems to imply that's so important in Chinese culture. It's like "We the People" if that helps clarify. Yea, I understood that by "we" you mean "the average Americans, We the People", and you specifically reference the CCP. So why do you think it is not PC for "we the average Americans, We the People" to be mad at the CCP?

@jon-nyc said in What was Joe doing in Ukraine on Jan 17, 2017?: But that doesn’t sound nearly as ominous as ‘he broke all precedent, leaving his last week, just to go to Ukraine!!!’ Apparently he went on the trip to do good. https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2017/01/joe-biden-foreign-policy/513758/ As President Obama remarked when awarding Joe Biden the most distinguished of all American civilian awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction, Biden has a habit of quoting his mother or father with some folksy aphorism. He’s told me, for example, “My dad used to say to me: ‘Champ, if everything is equally important to you, nothing is important to you.’” I imagined another Bidenesque aphorism for the moment, that sounded like something his parents might say. “Joey, there’s always a chance to do good and be good. Always a chance, even at the very last moment, to do good.” As Air Force Two approached Andrews Joint Base, the airport the President and Vice President use to fly in and out of Washington, Biden told me he’d spent the last several hours making calls to and having long conversations with five major world leaders. Squeezing it in. Always a chance to do good.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens to the Pats and the Bucs now though. It has the potential to greatly shift the relative reputations of Belichick and Brady.

Today on one news website that I looked at, it said that Jerry Stiller Is Dead. I don't like how they worded that. I think it would have been more appropriate for them to say that Jerry Stiller Has Passed Away instead.

I’m a little surprised he’d let bad numbers out. But maybe if he’s in the range on a per capita basis he’s not going to censor.
